Through the ages lovers like Laila Majnu, Shirin Farhad, Heer Ranjha, and Romeo and Juliet have proved that only human beings are mortal, love is eternal. The trials and tribulations that lovers have to go through are an old story. It is these that make love immortal.

Our story deals with the love of Niloufer and Pervez who in the ruins of Qisr-e-Shireen swore to belong to each other forever, no matter what obstacles came their way.

Soon their love became evident to all around them, and there was much talk about their love. At first Niloufer's father opposed the match, but afraid of gossip, later agreed to let her marry Pervez. Both of them were in seventh heaven. But Fate plays its own game, and it failed to smile on the lovers.

Suddenly from the mountain ranges of Mongolia came hordes of a tyrant who separated Niloufer and Pervez. This tyrant was Halaku Khan, worthy grandson of the mighty Changez Khan. Niloufer was enslaved and taken to Halaku. He tried to win her over first by force, and then by love. But Niloufer's heart belonged to Parvez. She refused point blank to become Halaku's wife.

Pervez, stricken with grief, swore to kill Halaku and set his Niloufer free, or die in the attempt. But the conqueror proved too strong for him. In this crisis a real patriot helped him. He explained to him that he alone could do nothing. He should band his countrymen together and oppose unitedly the Mighty Sword! Pervez realised the wisdom of this advice, and acted on it. But his plans were prematurely discovered, and he was taken prisoner.

When Halaku came to know of Niloufer's love for Pervez his jealousy knew no bounds. He told Niloufer to make a chance. "Either Pervez dies of you become min." Poor Niloufer. Here was a real test of her love.

What will she decide? Will true love win?
See this terrific climax for yourself on the Silver Screen.
